John, as of now I'm down only a couple thousand - (which is a lot for me right now) but I made quite a bit more than that the last couple of weeks on SNDK. So I'm ok. For you all, I hope SNDK gets to $100 within a week. But for me, I'd love it to hover in the $30s. I'll re-establish a decent position. Just a hunch, I wouldn't be surprised if SNDK is acquired - given the current situation. I guess Merrill was right. I didn't really understand why so many here were blaming ML, they only reduced EPS by five cents - and were still at the high end of analysts. The price drop was an over reaction by investors. Re: the house - in Phoenix. My wife and I just relocated here after 10 years in CA - nine in LA & one in SF. Call me crazy, but I think $500,000 is too much to pay for an 1800 square foot fixer-upper, 90 minutes out of the city. Plus there's year round golf (if you don't mind playing in 110 degree heat for three months). Been here three months now, and boy is it a change from CA. My neighbors and co-workers went from the EXTREME left to the EXTREME right. Dave
