It's unbelievable how outlandish frauds like Biotime can remain airballs for years. Ironically, you can thank the short sellers for this, since it's such a freakin' OBVIOUS scam that every short-seller and his brother is all over it, making the float easy to squeeze. Biotime has fraudulently promoted a blood volume expander (i.e. a cheap commodity) as a "blood substitute".

This is why the promoters of similar frauds such as GUMM are nearly obsessed with the short position in the stock.
