Mark Jordan of AG Edwards upgraded CPQ to Accumulate from Maintain. You can read the whole thing at:

I find his comparison between CPQ and DELL is very interesting and truthful, and is worth repeating:

"Some may ask why we are choosing Compaq as a vehicle versus Dell. Naturally when you think of PC rebound you think of Dell but we have no reason to believe the PC will ever return to the revenue generation vehicle it has been in the past. Truly at some point we will move to a mature upgrade model on this commodity item and having the highest share of a poor growth business is not necessarily good business. Dell is still betting very heavily on the PC and states it will use its pricing capabilities to drive competitors out of the market. We are putting money into Compaq at this time due to the diversification away from the PC, along with a diverse customer and geographic revenue base."
