If it is not weather related then what are you guys suggesting it might be? KEG has had a multiweek work backlog since they reported last quarter, which suggests that the flat rig hours is not due to a lack of available work.

Frank,

After a less than fruitful experience with the KEG Jan 10 calls, I hit the wagon during the last kegger here. I would be likely to try some should we see a serious selloff due to a failure to break out. Clearly this issue marches to a different tune. I don't care for the looks of the chart right now ... which probably means its headed higher!

In the meatime, I tried some AOL puts today along with some XOM calls. Like the XOM entry (90's), low risk high potential. AOL is trading the same range it was in late Sep when I managed a near miss with a HUGE gain (closed them too soon) on puts. Can't quite see how the outlook is better now. Also watching the XAU to see if my toe in the water there gets bit off completely. Kicking myself for not buying back my KRY stake a few days ago.
