Anyone who buys and holds QQQ or its equivalent is a clown.

But there are cheaper stocks even in the NASDAQ 100 which could be reasonable long-term investments. So buying and holding some of those or an actively managed fund might not be so clownish.

What an excellent table. Ho, ho, ho.

A 30 P/E multiple in 10 years would give the
NASDAQ a market capitalization of $5.14T in 10 years.
This roughly equates to an NASDAQ Index level of 3542.
As we mentioned, the NASDAQ closed at 3483 on
Friday. So, if these assumptions were to prove correct, we
can expect 59 additional points in the NASDAQ for the
next decade.

average holding period is now three months. that's good for the taxman since there's a cap on cap losses deductible in any one year.
