Scott,

I guess you are misunderstanding me. I am for accommodating all of the people of the earth, and see the damage on the environment as an unfortunate price that has to be paid, until we figure out how to accommodate the 6+ billion people with lower toll on the environment.

There doesn't seem to be any humane way of reducing the population. Those who think that the humans cause too much damage to the environment, and that the situation is unacceptable, and has to be solved NOW, I just hope they go through their (invalid) argument to it's conclusion. I suggested one possible conclusion to their argument, that is, if they think there are too many people, and the environmental impact of all these people is too great, I hope they do something about it.

As far I am concerned, I am a believer in human ingenuity. I am an optimist and I think these problems related to the environment will be solved, and Earth will accommodate all these people with ease.

Joe
