Scare? Nope ;-). With beta ~2.47, Broadcom can be a little jumpy.

Aside from the lawsuit, interest rate uncertainty, Greenspan's testimony tomorrow, FOMC next week, revenue warnings by other techs, ...etc.

If Ed Yardeni & Jeff Applegate are correct, the worst might be behind us or close to it.

Still, 124 it down quite alot from just last night. Besides the lawsuit, any other reason?

SG Cowen analyst Rick Billy said that BRCM's earnings guidance isn't that good if you don't factor in the recent acquisition of ServerWorks.

Also BRCM always seems to sell off a bit after earnings.
