TO ALL: Thanks for your prayers. R. who committed suicide, left a detailed suicide note. She was lonely---and felt abandoned by her kids. They said they'd drop by---she'd put on a meal---then they wouldn't show up and didn't call to tell her why. Other things she mentioned as well....sad....a very large funeral. She got up on a Sunday morning and instead of going to church, she started her car and finished herself off. She wasn't found until the next day. An encouraging word, a note of love, a phone call, a personal visit, a loaf of homemade bread, a baked pie. We can do more for the R.'s in the world. I have been visiting my DUI jailed friend. He got a six month sentence. He is showing some remorse. Am very cautious at the moment. OMB
