Bill,
Corning Inc., and SanDisk Corp. led declines among U.S.
stocks trading in Europe after both companies lowered forecasts.
It is a good excuse too take profits. I would not expect Greenspan to endorse
either 1/2 rate cut or a 1.6 trillion dollar tax cut.

Hi Bill,
Is it something more than profit taking? A lot of charts have broken their up trend lines. Zero quarterly economic growth does not support high growth premiums of many techs. The dollar reversed to the downside.
