Hello Eliz and everybody.

Well, just like you, I took a little time off from SI. It was for a diff. reason you had. Sorry to hear about your past troubles with SI. I thought I would let my prev. message sink in with Greenspan before posting again. gg.

Message 15097252

Greenspan did surprise us with an unexpected rate cut of 1/2 point on Jan.3rd. It looks like we may get another 1/2 point cut tomorrow. Hopefully!! And maybe even a 3/4 point cut. That would take care of my wish in my prev. message. All those mentioned 125 basis point by the end of January. That would make my crystal ball look great. gg.

I am still in most of my stocks. I had trimmed back in some of my losers in order to offset some of the gains I took earlier last year. Too bad I did not take more gains last year. Sigh.

I still own most of my AOL, DELL, WCOM and NOK. . Still own INTC and some other tech stocks and some internet stocks. YAHOO was eliminated for a big loss and some of my INTC and AOL had to pay the price for it. But I am not short on AOL stock.. I still own enough in hopes of having nice paper profits one day.I may even spend some of those profits next time around. Are you still in AOL? I am keeping an eye on INTC and hope to pick up more when things look more favorable again in that sector. Hm, DELL and WCOM came back from the dead and AOL came back nicely again also after hitting a new low earlier.

Let's hope for a nice rate cut tomorrow so the economy, that got devastated with those last 2 rate cuts last year, can thrive again soon. Maybe later this year after some more rate cuts besides that one tomorrow.

The saying: What goes up must come down def. held true this time around. Now it's time soon for it to go up again. The DOW did not do too bad but oh, our poor techs on the NAS. The NAS def. needs a lot of help from the FED now.

I will post some more tomorrow. I decided to better do so today since nobody posted since your post last Thursday. I am pretty sure, as soon as the market resumes its uptrend, we all will be back in full force. Bill and some others did well keeping the thread up.
Even Frank came back to life. If you read this Frank, I just noticed your PM from a while ago and will def. reply to it by tomorrow. I do have to run now.

Again. Hi to everyone.

Sonny

PS. Wow. What a day for the DOW. Maybe we will see this in the NAS tomorrow.
