I made an annual living amount in the last six months writing covered calls on my stocks all the way down. I haven't lost a single issue yet and have open positions on only three stocks. Two will probably not be called and one will because I was using the CC to enhance my exit from the position. This approach not only worked well for me - it kept me sane.
