As I had posted before, I've been taking Zicam at least once a day for a few months now in hopes that it would prevent even the start of a cold. I had been cold free so far this year, which is pretty amazing considering I usually get 3 or 4 a year. A couple of days ago I started getting a sore throat and I started increasing the Zicam as prescribed, but as of today it's a full blown cold...dang it.

I realize that Zicam won't kill every cold virus, but I was hoping anyway.

I'll continue to use Zicam as I think it's the best cold medicine on the market, but I'm somewhat disappointed that it didn't prevent the cold. Considering my experience, I'd be surprised if the preventative study that is ongoing with Zicam is overwhelming in it's results.

But...what do I know.
