It was suggested that the behavior itself be described, sans judgement. For example "She came to school dressed inappropriately" Yes, that makes sense when describing the incident. Your comment got me wondering about the "appropriate" use of the word in the policy, like "Students must come to school dressed appropriately." Policies are often intentionally vague. The utility of that and the "appropriateness" of it are common topics of discussion in my policy office so my mind naturally went there. Karen
