According to nasdaq.com, dell has a higher peg(next 12 months) than jdsu. It is really difficult to compare a boxmaker to a company that is involved in cutting edge technology..in terms of growth rates. The barriers to entry are much larger and that is why we see so much scrutiny of the SDLI deal. Concerns about JDSU becoming too strong unlike the issues facing the PC stocks of price cutting and demand slowdowns. You can easily set up shop to build PCs but optical components could be a little tricky.<g> BTW--I am long on the PC sector in a big way too.
