Hi p - this is certainly a possibility. Does anyone know if the BoD is in Mr Jain's pocket. A takeover proposal must be considered by the BoD. And both the CEO and the BoD have fiduciary duties to consider any comes their way. Of course, if Mr Jain controls the voting right, he can certainly vote it down, but he can be accused of breaching fiduciary duties if he doesn't consider at all
