gottfried, was thinking in particular of the fellow - need help with the name, who went into bonds with a lot of people's money in 99 and lost his job. i agree that mkt. timing sucks if you lose money due to the call being early, but my thot was that these people, some of buffet's people, too, were not absolutely wrong. i think nailing the trend is very helpful, and agree with sob that a.g. has put us on a road that will truly lead to mkt. hell. but i don't think it's going to fall on us right away. of course, if my timing is off i am a slaughtered hog. don
