I recall reading that the IBD accumulation/distribution rating is for the last 13 weeks, so it doesn't really tell you what's happening now. Chances are if something's had an E rating, the near term prospects (stock price that is) are not to promising. To me its interesting to see when the institutions come back in and buy back a beaten down stock. For instance CTXS has had an A rating recently.

Per IBD's web site NTAP has an A/D rating of E today. It has had an E rating since November. I believe the rating is based on the past 13 weeks so it isn't an exact rating of what is going on that day.
