yes, because if it IS a high, Feb, especially early Feb, is going to be brutal. of course i must caution here that one should remain flexible..clearly the Fed has opened the spigot wide, and one must be aware that we're betting against them here. however, the bulls did the same when they began raising rates, and managed to chase the NAZ to a 90% gain from the beginning of the tightening cycle. while the bulls have the monetary tail-wind, they also have the reality head-wind to contend with. not that that has ever bothered them...-g-
