If the bad data is all over the place but the market remains stable that actually argues against your point.

OG,

Every day I become more and more cynical.

Nothing surprises me anymore. My observation of late is that everything seems to be happening in slow motion. Things that should take days are taking months to develop. In other words, I don't make much out of bad news being ignored. I fell into this same trap when I was long the semi's last year where the bad news was ignored so I stayed long, but eventually reality catches up, and when it's late it tends to catch up fast.

Chart is intact as long as we don't print $39...

I'm starting to get the feeling we are near the catastrophic event that will make charts worthless. We already had a 15% rally in the Naz when AG cut rates, no chart could predict that. I think the same will happen on the downside.

Double Bottom put in at 40. If it holds then we will have to break 43 Double Top, then 44 Triple Top, then on to 50s. I smell rally from here. Low risk CSCO buy here, with stop loss at 38 1/2. Too bad my $ is gone.
