I thought life sucked and then you died? But, seriously... (maybe seriously... I'm waffling here... ) okay, I think perhaps too much emphasis is given to seeing things reasonably. Logic is pretty clear. A+B=C. yaddayadda. Now X sees things more reasonably than me a lot of the time. She is very reasonable. Me, more something else. Her view often clarifies things for and I say "yeah, whatever." Sometimes I stick to my view because her reason doesn't always encompass the full spectrum of possibilties, not all of which are within what we deem "reasonable". Like "faith" stuff.

There was more to this post, something about how the fact I'm dating (or whatever it is called these days) a (gulp) Republican who (double gulp) voted for Bush alters both my view of things and how I speak of them both publicly and privately. and how as an identified person of a liberal persuasion, maybe even leftist (I do get confused on that stuff) feels when someone I think of as a friend says something along the lines of "liberals are dirt" that I question whether we can be friends, since clearly they thing *I* am dirt. But I ran out of steam.

Who relies on anyone to do that?
I never rely on other people to see anything.
