I don't get the impression they were ever true & fast friends. Perhaps only friends of convenience or need much the same way a hooker says the John "Your so good looking and big".

Ever see the old movie "Oklahoma Crude"? My favorite scene was when the wildcatter stuck the double barreled shotgun behind the ear of the oil company official,cocked both hammers, PI$$ed down his leg, & said "Businessmen sometimes do this to each other".

Perhaps ABX has only been doing what they needed for survival, oiling the shotgun, putting 00 buck in one barrel & a number 8 birdshot in the other, waiting on the side of that rig for the exact right moment....

Then again, George C. Scott lost that one in the movie.
