JRI,

The difficult thing about trying to predict what will eventually cause the market to go either direction or how the market interprets any given piece of info is always a tough thing to do. Personally, I would always lean in the direction opposite of public sentiment. For example taking the opposite side what the public is taking for granted next week. But let me just say that when I look at the charts for companies like ORCL, SDLI, KEI, JDSU just to name a few I see patterns that at the very least will test their old lows and go sideways through the 1st qtr. of the year. And at worst, stocks could very well pierce those old lows and breakdown even further. Unfortunately, with my type of analysis I don't know which scenario will ultimately play out until more of the pieces are in place. Then again with stocks like ADCT and NTAP under pressure I believe they could give us some early clues as to which scenario evenutally has its way.
