I thought maybe I'd misread- but see below. There is more than one company doing BSE testing- but I forgot the names.

Swiss Roche and Prionics to cooperate in BSE tests sector
Zurich--Jan. 24--Swiss pharmaceutical group Roche AG's Diagnostics unit and Prionics In., a Zurich-based biotechnology company have agreed to collaborate in meeting European demand for Prionics rapid BSE-test product, Roche said Wednesday. Prionics currently offers the only BSE test which can be used for the detection of BSE, or "mad cow disease", in live cattle.
