Milo: Does AMD need Transmeta? CNBC link (btw, that's one annoying article layout with the font size changes all over the place - ahh, I see it only occurs in Netscape(not6) and Opera). Thanks for the link... definitely food for thought The company has increased its market share to 17% from a low of less than 6% in 1997, and its earnings last quarter more than doubled from the year before, thanks to big gains in the high-end corporate market. uhmm... no comment ;) I'd still really like to know what, if anything, AMD has planned for that shelf offering... -fyo
