Intelligence relating to moral conclusions? Don't make me laugh and think you are interesting right now, k? I'm supposed to be irritated. But you are right. Or not. I quibble with the "moral" conclusion part. I don't see that as a part of one's intelligence leading to a conclusion but rather one's soul.

There's a lot more to it than that but I'm busy picking, or accepting (????) a fight right now.

You're posts are cool. From the first time I read you I knew we disagreed about a lot, if not most, things. But this is reallly neat. I'm glad you came you came here today.

I think it's only going to take compromise first and a limited meeting of the minds after that.

Compromise! Arghh! Compromise is an abomination, right up there with masturbation and shellfish. <g> The only time to compromise, IMO, is when there are a number of widgets involved and you can split them. Compromise doesn't work with issues. Neither does persuasion. We spend time knocking our heads against the wall trying to persuade the other person while they're trying to persuade us. And we conclude that the best we can achieve is to agree to disagree. A waste of energy and brainpower, IMO. It's a shame when people can't be more open-minded and creative than that.
