Have you been watching the earnings come in? They have mostly been positive. Sure things are slowing down, but things aren't dead. Rate cuts and tax cuts will revive liquidity and bring stability to the markets and renewed growth to companies. This is 2001 not 1929, so learn to live with it. Instant communication was not to be had in 1929, and that changes everything. Nothing is the same as it was back then.

Hi Bambs,

It's hard to say when reality will set in. It could be anytime from tomorrow to about 9 months from now. We still have a lot of crooked CEO's touting a second half story, while they monetize shareholder ignorance at record pace (see Ellison dumped another $150 million of Oracle?). The slow learners still buy this story and maybe we need to get all the way to the second half before they learn. Or there could be a panic anytime. It's just too hard to tell.

If they try to bounce Crisco, I'm selling more.

PS- Got my safety deposit box a few days ago and I'm planning on loading it up with Gold and Cold Hard Cash, just in case.

LOL!

Completely absent from the thread on the move up but a 10% sell off and you're back. So predictable. Anyway, I'm glad you're back - the thread was quiet without you around.

BTW: Where did you read about high inventory levels recently?

Anyway, we can always count on bambs for that dose of reality. <ggg>

.i'm sure they will try to jam it into the fomc meeting then sell it off again.

who is "they" and what is "jam it". Just trying to understand you view of the conspiracy...
