Other than the water quality monitoring, I don't hold him responsible for the Texas environmental problems. I don't think I had posted anything different. I was just pointing out that Houston is high on the ozone list, and it was there before Bush was governor, and it still is. I remember how things were when I was a kid, the refineries pumping out so much smoke that cars had their lights on during the day, sulfur dioxide levels so high that ir would eat paint off of walls and pantyhose off the coeds, rivers with no fish...

It's a lot better. But Shrub had nothing to do with it.

No, the thing I was complaining about is that Smirk flat out, openly lied about things he did as governor. And I am not talking about taking credit for things he did not have any power over, I am talking about taking credit for things that were only passed over his unconscious body. Things he fought with everything he could bring to bear.
