Looking to next week, Mad Cow disease may be in the news: MCD and WEN went down on big volume today. Jagnotes attributed this to reports that Mad Cow Disease had been discovered in a herd in Texas. This evening I see: biz.yahoo.com Also, next week there is a convention of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. This may attract some media attention. It is possible that PDGM may be a winner in all this. They have developed a high throughput test for the rapid detection of BSE (Bovine Spongiform Encepthalopathy) and a test for Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease in humans.
