Mexican Magnate Slated To Speak On
'Technological Innovation' At Davos

MEXICO CITY, Jan 25, 2001 (Reforma/Infolatina via COMTEX) -- Mexican magnate Ricardo Salinas Pliego,
chairman of TV Azteca, the country's No. 2 television company, is the only Mexican businessman
scheduled to participate in any of the round-table discussions at the World Economic Forum summit in
Davos, Switzerland, Reforma business columnist Alberto Aguilar reported. Salinas reportedly on Jan. 29
will sit on a summit panel that is slated to address the topic of technological innovation. He will share the
podium with Harvard University Professor of Business Clayton M. Christiensen, Stanford University's David
Kelley and Compaq Computer Corporation Chairman and CEO Michael D. Capellas, Aguilar reported.
