LoF--Oh really? I don't recall Clinton's REPUBLICAN Defense Secretary slicing defense spending to the bone, do you? Or arguing that was what we were doing?... The truth is that we spend almost half of all the money spent on defense in the entire frickin' world! And now, Bush Jr. wants to build a "missile defense shield" that most scientists think won't work (didja see the "60 Minutes" program on it a few weeks ago?), and one that could be circumvented by biological terrorism or a suitcase nuclear bomb that would be virtually untraceable. But, that waste in government is okay with you guys....
