according to GLW and what I am hearing big carriers are just ready to finalize they capex and in meantime there is delay
by several weeks in deployment.
this is also the reason why historically Q1 was always weaker then Q4 for many vendors like NT,ALA 1999, 2000 etc.

t2,
I think that is it. The common theme for weakness are the Cisco related enterprise companies, while the carrier related suppliers seem to be fine.

After thinking about this, this whole selloff is one big buying opportunity. I believe the bear market is over. Whatever ails us now will be cured eventually with the lower rates. There are still many who cannot see this, even the pros.

If these stocks were at all time highs, that would be one thing, but they are not.

Time to look across the valley and buy this dip. If there were not concerns about profits, there would be no upside from here.

Waiting for the dust to settle is prudent, but when the downside velocity slows, I'm buying something.

Good luck to all, tomorrow will not be as bad as it seems.
