You exemplify the point of Dipy's remarks. 328% returns in such short periods of time (at one point you were up 700% I suspect) are NOT NORMAL.

Try to make that same return in a normal market, with a high PE stock, IT DOESN'T HAPPEN.

I suspect you'll be up 150% in 6 months from your purchase price and 75% 12 months from now.

That's a huge opportunity cost from selling today and just trading it around.

And your's is at long term rates!! I scoff at all of these people that say that LTB&H got smoked last year. Your returns in NTAP refute their position. I think their problem is that their idea of "long" in LTB&H is 3 months.

My big problem last year was that I had just made a transition to out of my large long term positions near the end of 1999, and had repositioned into positions that appreciated rapidly, but at short term rates. I got stuck thinking that selling was foolish, because of the short term capital gains issue. I made a lot of mistakes, but I think that I learned. I'm positioned now for up to a two year holding horizon on most positions, and I expect them to do very well by this time two years from now.
