No the CC writing is not as easy in an up market but if you write out 6 - 12 mths in my experience you will get at least one chance to buy in your calls at a great price. I do get called out but try to make sure that it is at my target or at target plus the option premium. I then reenter the desired position when I think the price is right again. I haven't found a great solution to parking cash in the interim yet.
