Hi Ibexx, Concur that general econ health may not recuperate till mid year at the earliest. But the stock market is a discounting mechanism. Therefore, wouldn't be surprised to see a positive slope beginning next month onward. Per Elaine Garzarelli, 15 central banks have joined our Fed in easing interest rates recently. Hence, market-friendly atmosphere globally. Perhaps this renewed uptrend will be driven more by interest rates and less by earnings. Sustainable? Time will tell.
