Well, I for one, am really worried about what those Democrats in Washington think about the Republican Party.

"It was wrong and stupid to attack individual canvassing boards for trying to do their jobs".

Thanks for that admission, Nadine. But I don't think GWB was "trying to discredit and delegitimize the idea of manual recounts". He was trying to discredit and delegitimize the VERY illegitimate Al Gore and his lawyers views of recounts. Al attacked with a vengence when the vote was close. GWB was defending his win. That most democrats can't see this amazes me and makes me question their integrity. I don't believe that GWB attacked any recounts at all when they were initially done per state law. Correct me if I am wrong.

Dear Dear dear nadine, I had no anger at Gore for trying to con American's that selectively recounting certain votes where their was to be no objective standard and trying to justify mechanical problems with a machine as complex as a hammer and nail using a political scientist was to this technologist a comedy of the absurd. I did not know until gores stupid post election proposition of what a really really dumb dude he really was. No wonder he flunked out of divinity school.

Speaking of hammer and nails is it true that the confirmation vote on Mr. Ascroft will be held in the senate by a new and special procedure.

I heard a large wooden cross will be brought into the senate chamber and a spike and hammer will be given to each senator. Any senator not wishing to confirm will hammer a spike into the cross. If less than 51 spikes are in the cross then Mr. Ascroft will be confirmed.

After all as Jesse has said. Under God we lust, at lease me and the X-pres. In the name of God we crucify decent men who oppose the murder of unborn children.
