Ed's suggestion really works well for SI, only problem is, it messes up other sites when my chosen font doesn't fit.

All,

The font issue is the result of different browser and how the map a font. Once we complete all of the back-end architecture changes I will take a look at which fonts will most easily be mapped to your pre-selected fonts on your browser and PC. We are almost complete - again thanks for your patience and I know it has been frustrating.
