I personally, don't think everyone should be civil. I think that people shouldn't talk about each other on threads where there is no repsonse permitted. I would send them "outside, sport, to the boxing ring" Here, I </> think it should be a free-for all, minus your #1 and # 2. Libel is illegal. Likewise the criminal activity. But don't come egging someone on here and then run to SI. I'm not sure SI will support that. Deliberately nasty posts, and posters, on either thread discredit that thread, and i admit i have partaken in this game. We should tell those types to go to BR. Even our own S#it stinks, and we shouldn't tolerate it. was that obscene?
