Funny thing, Clinton raised taxes on the rich in 1993 and it seems to me the poor and the middle class are doing, relatively, fine... Raising taxes on the rich and lowering spending in some areas (including defense) has brought the budget into surplus, and if we don't screw it up by giving at a humongous tax cut (70% of which will go to the richest 10%), this country has a great future.

The rich don't suffer. It's the poor and middle class that work for them that suffer. When will you people ever come to grips with that fact?
