Did you see where W. won the recount in Palm Beach County? I think you're thinking of the Miami/Dade recount, where there were 10,000 undervotes. Interesting note: the voting supervisor thinks that 2700 of the undervote belonged to voters who put the cards in the machine the wrong way, and then punched holes in the wrong spots. If you reconstructed what they did and count their votes (they weren't counted because the holes were all wrong), Gore would have gained over 300 votes.
