though jdsu posted strong results, they are wise to take
advantage of the current weak economy to trim forcast so
analysts will lower their estimates. csco did that
last week or so. short-term it could
hurt the stock price but will benefit over longer run.
no wonder ibm and compaq have beaten revised estimates lately. whoever do well, e.g. jdsu, in this environment
while others do poorly will most likely outperform when
the market turns around.

One jackass does not make all jackasses. If the current situation is characterised by such poor quality work, why don't you go be an analyst!?
