That's in agreement with what I said. The top in prices came after the top in breadth because of the mega-caps pushing the cap-weighted indexes higher (rotation out of small and mids). The bottom in prices may come after the bottom in breadth due to the continued decline of the large-caps (rotation into small and mids). i think small and midcaps will outperform big caps for at least another year or so. So do you think going short SPY and long an equivalent amount of MDY and IWM (Russel 2K) is a good pairs trade? Ali
