Silly E. Clearly there is much you do not understand from being raised in the pristine environment of the city and all. One must wash weekly weather one needs it or not. That forms a "habit". And habits of cleaniness are good. And they relieve from one the necessity to check on whether or not one is dirty. Now, if I wash every Saturday before the dance, as a habit, I know I will be clean whether I was dirty before hand or not. If I do not wash every Saturday, I have to check whether or not I am dirty and adjust my schedule accordingly. Better to simply wash every Saturday afternoon. Giving special attention to the neck, which gets sunburned and caked with dirt. It is part of a woman's glory. A clean neck, that is.
