PMCS earned $0.99/share in 2000, so at the afterhours price of $64 it has a P/E of ~65.

That's still too high considering that management has zero visibility going forward, but it shows that there is far less of a fall in store than if PMCS was trading at a P/E of 200+.

Of course, those are all pro forma numbers. Taking the GAAP figures gives PMCS a P/E of 156 at its afterhours closing price.
