I just don't see how the author gets from the facts (he lists) to the conclusions. I guess this article would be a good example of prejudice in liberal-speak.

If I take his premise seriously, I guess the author expects Bush to be the good (caricature) of a Christian, by turning the other cheek. After "dissing" Bush fairly publicly by Tony Blair and to some extend by Canadians, they expect to be the first on Bush's itinerary.

It doesn't really work that way.
