Just remember folks, in the near term the market doesn't give a damn about how great QCOM is positioned or how many 1x handsets we are supposed to be selling in 2001. A return to the mania of late 1999 is a distant memory and will be forever etched in our market history books along with the tulips. I for one hope we never see that kind of craziness again. QCOM will win and so will we, but it might be wise to temper our enthusiasm with our experiences the past year. The excitement over a few pre market up points today or short term rally means nothing other than to reveal those who may allow emotions to drive their investment decisions. Be wary.
