Thanks for the info...a bizarre deal...one of my clients I trade for is a physicians' group in Arizona...they called me last night, out of the blue...apparently they own some commercial properties in San Diego and want me to go out and trouble-shoot them (long story)...I was kind of taken-aback by the deal, had been planning on moving to Sarasota FL next month, but they said they owned a beachfront house on W. Point Loma Blvd. that they'd let me have rent-free, plus offered me a sweetheart deal to go out and troubleshoot the properties in my spare time...I've never stepped foot in California--that's the weird part.

Sounds like a cool deal (I'm single, no kids and can operate the hedge fund anywhere as long as I have broadband access)...they're flying me out to look it over next Thursday, they kept telling me last night the place was "on the beach" but I didn't want to go out there and find it in the middle of a friggin' ghetto, hehe.

I guess based on the electricity situation, I probably ought to negotiate one of those Honda generators in the deal, hehe.

Thanks again.
