Inflation? I recently paid off my daughter's college loans to set her free in the world. The total cost of her college education? $100,000 plus. Cost of my college education (a very special case, granted, and long ago: about $2,000, split equally between books and beer. Cost of a doctor visit? My father, a doctor, charged $3.00, maybe went up to $4.00 at the end. Last time I went it was $65 plus lab work--total over $100. All I needed was a prescription and I knew what I needed. My toilet brokee. Call the plumber. Whe he got through it was $350. Only thing not inflated is Taco Bell.
