I'm waiting a bit to see if the cu mine closures really happen, and for how long. I don't think copper miners will shine if the us housing market continues to go kaput and Asia goes into reverse along with the US. But at some point, buying the base metals will be similar to buying energy in '99 - severe undervaluation, years of underinvestment, and limited capacity for expansion b/c of the former. An interesting contrast between Chilean and Western US miners; Chile, especially northern Chile, has significant excess electricity capacity. I've left some stuff about T.AUR in your PM.
