I have tried to get at the Verizon CDMA v. AMPS split, without success. Their SEC filings don't show that. I am guessing they still are at least one third AMPS. The pool of AMPS customers is even larger than that.... biz.yahoo.com The company also ended the year with more than half of its customers using digital services, and more than 750,000 subscribers using its wireless data services. I think that they were around 40% a couple of quarters ago. Alltel is even worse....I vaguely remember reading that they had 20% digital penetration at some point last year. Slacker
