JLS,

That is exactly what he said. I thought he was a bit cautious with any itrust predictions. Which is good for him (and us). I got the feeling from the way he said it that he truly didn't know what the interest would be right away. Because he wasn't shy about putting optimistic guidance up there when he seemed to feel confident about it.

I am not expecting a ton of revenue from itrust in the upcoming Q1, which is fine by me. I think that they will have a good (at least, better) sense of what to expect in future quarters and it will probably look very good.

Regards,

Stockman17

I remember IDX saying at a previous conference call that they expected some minor 4Q contribution from itrust to the top line. It looks like their business plan is still on track. My guess is that they have a commitment for itrust revenues, pending its deployment, from MOT or another ally before the end of FY2001. We could even see something to that effect in any MOT OEM announcement.

Growth Projections

JL,

Yes...I agree. I don't think IDX can speak about 6 months from now....but they may be able to in a few more months. Maybe after they hammer out a Motorola OEM?...See what numbers Toshiba needs this Summer?.....then they can start talking 100%+ stuff?

I think that will be the case.....and that Toshiba will find that they need more of this stuff because of customer demand.....so now is the time to buy IDX.

I think my point was that the market was not thrilled with 30 to 40%.......but that it may just bring up a buying chance....as I think we know what could happen this Summer...and 30 to 40% could be very conservative.

Don't get me wrong...I'm fine with 30 to 40% for the next two quarters.....Heck...I know what "flat" means.

I hope you read the post about my wife suddenly pounding the table on IDX...and picking up another 200 shares.......I think all Commission members need to make the next call a "family home evening" event.

How much is not having your wife think you are crazy worth? My calculator flashes "E" every time I try to run the numbers.

I'm just going to stop trying....and take her out for dinner and dancing.....always a winning plan.

bg

ps. I think any Motorola OEM will launch the stock......and the best prices will be prior to this happening.

I really do think that the "scanner phone" may just light the fire in the cell phone sector....I think people are not aware of how "hot" these things could become.

I think some people will buy them for the safety....but many more will buy them just because they are very cool.
